A little background on John Silver; he wrestles for various different wrestling companies in the US including Evolve, NYWC, & others. At this point John Silver is still making a name for himself on the East Coast but he has a lot of potential to be a big star in any company he is in.
For the readers who may not know who you are why not give a little background of who you are & how you got into the Wrestling business?
JS: Well I'm 22 year old dude from Long Island. When i was 14 i looked up wrestling schools in my area and found the NYWC where Mikey Whipwreck was the trainer.
When you were growing up were you a wrestling fan or no and if not where you aware of it?
JS: Yea i was always a big wrestling fan. I remember being really young and having my dad let me stay up past my bed time on Mondays so that i could watch the end of RAW.
If you were a fan growing up was there any wrestlers specifically who made you say I am going to do this and be like them?
JS: There was never and specific moment or person that made me want to be a wrestler. I just always kinda knew that i was going to be a pro wrestler, so when i heard there was a wrestling school around me a signed up right away.
Who is the best opponent you have been in the ring with, & who did you enjoy feuding with the most?
JS: This is a really tough one. I honestly cant name just one so i ill just name a bunch. Tony Nese, Alex Reynolds, Jigsaw, Fire Ant, Bandido jr and Azrieal, Young Bucks. I'm prob forgetting a few
If you could have a dream match with anyone in the wrestling active or retired who would you pick and why. Also what type of match would it be Singles, Tag Team, Multi Man, Gimmick match, etc and if there was any specific reason to pick the stipulation?
JS: I have about a thousand dream matches but here is one of them. It would be a 6 , man tag. It would be myself, Alex Wright and Disco Inferno vs Too cool with Rikishi. They would go over on me with the worm and then we would all dance.
Out of all the companies you have worked for which company you have liked working for the most?
JS: NYWC is my home and i always enjoy wrestling there but i've been really enjoying my recent time in CZW.
Have you modeled your in-ring or mic style after any or the past wrestlers or managers?
JS: I try not to, but sometimes when i watch a lot of stuff from someone like Kurt Angle or Chris Jericho ill find myself doing things like them.
Also if there is any event for a specific company or form of social media you’d like to plug feel free to.
