Over the last few months the rumors have ran rampant all over many wrestling companies regarding who exactly WWE is signing who they aren't signing, as it turns out the WWE has signed Top International Superstar KENTA & Top Independent Wrestler Kevin Steen. However, the list doesn't end their as the WWE has added another top international name to the list of signing and his name Fergal Devitt aka Prince Devitt. Over the last few years Prince Devitt has become one of the top young international light heavyweights in the World and was the leader of the top stable in NJPW called the Bullet Club before he got signed. Though I know I alot about Indy wrestling I will let the WWE article on Devitt do the talking for me. I feature an excerpt below:
"“This is something I’ve been looking forward to since I was maybe four or five years old,” Devitt told WWE.com last week, while preparing for the trip in his home country of Ireland. “I grew up watching wrestling my whole life, so to get the chance to step in the ring that I’ve watched on TV so many times is a dream come true"
Prior to signing with WWE, Devitt was widely considered one of the most highly touted free agents in sports-entertainment. Hailing from Bray, County Wicklow, Ireland, his path to NXT and WWE has been circuitous: Initially trained in England, Devitt honed his craft in the U.K. and U.S. independent scenes before entering the notoriously disciplined dojos of New Japan Pro Wrestling. He also competed in Mexico, though it was in New Japan that he rose to greatest prominence, under the name Prince Devitt."
Just wanted to add that as a fan of Pro-Wrestling, I want to wish all of the WWE's new singings the best of luck in their home and that no matter what they name maybe in the company that shouldn't change their talent or their fan base.
